One of countless women whose neurodivergence is first diagnosed in their 30s, Sasha is navigating the realisation that what she once thought was laziness or stupidity is, in fact, neurology.
As she prepares to take part in the Rottnest Island Swim for the first time, Sasha explores what it is to exist outside of the status quo as both a neurodivergent woman in a neurotypical world, as a Russian-born Australian with more ties to this country than the one of her birth.
Following Sasha over her 12 months preparing for the swim, 'Flow' will be presented in three different 20 minute edits - one liner, one locational and one emotional - offering an experiential insight into the neurodivergent experience.
